Once you are in Ollantaytambo, pass straight through the Plaza de Armas.
Go down the hill and turn right onto Avenida Qura Oqllo, next to Inka's Tower Café (this is the first right that you can take by car once you pass the Plaza).

Follow Qura Oqllo Avenue along the river for approx. 3 mins (10 mins walking). The river is on your left.
When you get to the small bridge, go over the bridge turning slightly to the right. The river is now on your right.
Keep going until you reach a 'Y' in the road. Turn right at the 'Y' to continue following the river. Follow this road for approximately 3 minutes (8 mins walking).
The entrance to Earth Tones is the second bridge on your right with a wooden entrance.

* If you plan on driving to the property let us know and our caretaker will meet you at the entrance to guide you to the parking area just across the bridge after passing through the entrance doors.

Una vez que estas en Ollantaytambo, pasa por la Plaza de Armas.
Baje la colina y gire a la derecha en Avenida Qura Oqllo, al lado de Inka's Tower Café (esta es la primera derecha que puedes tomar por carro una vez que pase la Plaza).

There are two lock boxes at the wooden entrance. The top lock box is for Casita 1, and the bottom lock box is for Casita 2.

(A message will be sent prior to your stay with the lock box codes.)

Inside the lock box is a key ring with 2 keys. The larger key is for the wooden door at the entrance. To open the wooden door turn the key to the right. The smaller key is for the sliding door of the casita. The lock is a bit delicate so when opening the door of the casita, push the handle to the left to assist the lock to catch.
​
As you enter the property and cross the bridge, the casitas will be to your right. Casita 1 is farthest to the right in the corner of the property. Casita 2 is to the left of Casita 1. (The caretaker space is straight across from the bridge.)

Hay dos cajas de seguridad en la entrada de madera. La caja de seguridad en la parte superior es para Casita 1 y la caja de seguridad en la parte inferior es para Casita 2.

La cerradura es un poco delicada, así que al abrir la puerta de la casita, empuje la manija hacia la izquierda para ayudar a que la cerradura se enganche.

BLANKETS:
Extra blankets are provided if you need some extra warmth at night.
Casita 1 - Located in storage on sides of bed.
Casita 2 - Located in sliding door storage under bench.
DOGS:
We have a 'guard dog' on the property named Chavó. He is extremely friendly but will more than likely bark when you arrive. Call him by his name and he will know you are friends. :)
DRINKING WATER:
A pitcher of filtered drinking water will be provided upon arrival. If you prefer bottled water, here is a friendly reminder to bring your own. It is recommended to bring extra drinking water.
FOOD:
Please store perishable food items in the refrigerator or plastic bin provided.
HOT WATER:
Hot water is available in the shower and both sinks. If taking a shower in the morning, you may need to let the water run for a minute or so before the hot water kicks in.
PETS
No pets allowed.

SHOES:
Please help us keep the casitas clean by kindly removing your shoes when entering and leaving them on the rugs provided.
STOVETOP DIRECTIONS:
Press the power button to turn on.
If 'Lo' appears this means the stovetop is locked. To unlock, hold the padlock icon for a few seconds until the 'Lo' disappears. Once the 'Lo' disappears you can use the stovetop.
There are two circles at top of the keypad for the two burners. Select the burner you would like to use and use the +/- buttons to adjust the level of heat.
Once the heat level is where you would like it, press the circle for the selected burner once again to activate the heat.
Once done, press the power button to turn the unit off.
Press the padlock icon to lock the keypad. The 'Lo' will appear letting you know the keypad is locked.
TOILET NOTE:
Please use the waste bins provided for disposal of toilet paper and sanitary products. We use a biodigestor to filter all waste that goes into the toilet. Anything other than water and human waste can interfere with the filtering system.
WI-FI:
Wi-fi is currently not provided however the signal for cell data is sufficient.
WINDOWS:
To cool down the casitas during the day and allow air to flow through the space, feel free to open the windows and feel the breeze. At night it's recommended to keep the windows shut as the bugs tend to be attracted to the interior lights.

PERROS:
Tenemos un "perro guardian" en la propiedad se llama Chavó. El es extremadamente amigable, pero lo más probable es que ladren cuando llegues. Llámalo por su nombre y sabrá que sois amigos.
AGUA POTABLE:
A su llegada se le proporcionará una jarra de agua potable filtrada. Si prefiere agua embotellada, aquí le recordamos que debe traer la suya propia. Se recomienda llevar agua potable extra.

ALIMENTO:
Guarde los alimentos perecederos en el refrigerador o en el recipiente de plástico provisto.
AGUA CALIENTE:
Hay agua caliente disponible en la ducha y en ambos lavabos. Si te duchas por la mañana, es posible que tengas que dejar correr el agua durante aproximadamente un minuto antes de que entre el agua caliente.
MASCOTAS
No se permiten mascotas.

ZAPATOS:
Ayúdenos a mantener limpias las casitas quitándose los zapatos al entrar y dejándolos sobre las alfombras proporcionadas.

DIRECCIONES DE LA COCINA:
Presione el botón de encendido para encender.
Si aparece 'Lo', significa que la estufa está bloqueada. Para desbloquear, mantenga presionado el ícono del candado durante unos segundos hasta que desaparezca 'Lo'. Una vez que el 'Lo' desaparezca podrás usar la estufa.
Hay dos círculos en la parte superior del teclado para los dos quemadores. Seleccione el quemador que le gustaría usar y use los botones +/- para ajustar el nivel de calor.
Una vez que el nivel de calor esté donde deseas, presiona el círculo del quemador seleccionado una vez más para activar el calor.
Una vez hecho esto, presione el botón de encendido para apagar la unidad.
Presione el ícono del candado para bloquear el teclado. Aparecerá 'Lo' informándole que el teclado está bloqueado.

NOTA DEL BAÑO:
Utilice los contenedores de basura previstos para desechar el papel higiénico y los productos sanitarios. Utilizamos un biodigestor para filtrar todos los residuos que van al inodoro. Cualquier cosa que no sea agua y desechos humanos puede interferir con el sistema de filtrado.
WIFI:
Actualmente no se proporciona Wi-Fi, pero la señal para datos móviles es suficiente

VENTANAS:
Para refrescar las casitas durante el día y permitir que el aire fluya por el espacio, abra las ventanas y sienta la brisa. Por la noche se recomienda mantener las ventanas cerradas ya que los insectos tienden a sentirse atraídos por las luces interiores.
